Good staff good food good prices

The lady that was our waitress was amazing! Food was great, the cheese stake sandwich on sourdough was awesome! I got it the way its servered, added nothing.Coffee milkshake was also great!

It was just fine. Nothing spectacular

We came here exhausted from travel and they were great. Excellent service and decent breakfast and lunch food.

Had our favorite waitress Tammy. She always goes above and beyond. Great food!

With all the Friendly's locations around us closing down it was nice to have one we could still go to. They usually offer good food at a good price. Unfortunately this time was not the case. Arrived at noon for lunch and asked for the lunch menu as the breakfast ones were on the table, and was told the store was experimenting on extending breakfast past 11:00. Not thrilled, but haven't been to a friendly's in a while. After placing our order, we received meals which tasted like the box it came out of. Small portions left more to be desired. What frustrated us the most, was as they were bringing out our "breakfast", we watched as others were being served lunch. Staff was friendly, but absent. After the food was delivered, it was the last we heard from them. On a positive note however, the place was very clean. Unfortunately though, it is no longer a place that warrants the drive.

The waitress Jen was AWESOME & very friendly. We did have a couple minor issues with the food that were promptly and properly handled. Would give a 5 star rating if not for the food issues. The new food was fine and tasty.

So far waiting 20 minutes to get food. Our waiter cant be found to even get straws to drink our drinks from. Front end hostess has lost at least two older people who left because she wasnt at her station.

I love Friendly's but unfortunately there are few around and none where I live now!

Very very slow. Watch two tables come in after us and be totally done and checked out before we got our order. So far we have waited one hour for our order, which is just ice cream. Our granddaughters paper cups have soaked through in the time we have waited. Our order showed up with the waitress with a terrible aditude. This place needs to close.

This used to be our favorite kid friendly place to eat. It has gone seriously gone downhill. Portions are smaller, which isn't necessarily a problem, but it is a problem when a restaurant does this because they are going under. Cutting portions in the name of public health would be a different story. Dining area is generally clean and waitstaff is usually friendly, but the prices no longer match the quality and/or portions. Sorry Friendly's please come back!

A big oof from me. Cheap food but horrible atmosphere and setting. Waitresses are trained to ignore smaller tables and focus solely on big parties. Good luck with that.

Food was great. No wait on the appetizers or meal. Waitress was overwhelmed at times, but was friendly and polite.

This place was awful to eat at. Half of our food was cold. They forgot half of our order. They took a long amount of time when there wasn't very many people there. The person who helps us was very short with words and very rude. I would only recommend eating here if you want diarrhea for days. There good tasted gross and did not settle well in mine or any one of the people's I went will. Absolutely terrible.

When we entered we waited to be seated like most places have you do, however we waited just for a waitress or hostess to even know we were there. Only 2 waitresses and they were doing their best to serve people as well as seat them. The food was ok. I have had better.

Service was a little slow but its understandable with only two waitresses on... food was good.

Waitress was wonderful working all by herself as manager was nowhere to be seen...extra busy kids eat free day she handled herself with pride and excellent customer service making sure all tables were attended to promptly and when tables left without leaving a tip... No change in her attitude she just continued doing. Her job with pride💪strong woman impressive! I askd her name it was Brooklin....Horseheads NY while we left manager was out smoking and playing on his phone out back as we drove around to leave... Go figure good thing. He had this waitress to hold down the fort for him

Best sit down family restaurant!

Ordered food for take out and when I went to go pick it up 30-45 minutes later nobody was at the counter so I rang the bell. It took almost 5 minutes for someone to help me only for my food to still not be ready. I ordered take out to avoid waiting however ended up having to wait anyways.

Food was good (just eggs and an english muffin-nothing extravagant), service was good. I think I enjoy their lunch/dinner menu a lot more than their breakfast menu but that isnt this restaurants fault. It was clean and everyone was friendly.

This place was absolutely horrible! We waited an hour for our food. It was nothing special just a couple cheeseburgers and a sandwich. Two of the meals were made wrong. We asked for refills that never came. We gave up waiting for our kids ice cream. When the food came it was cold the cheese on the loaded fries had turned colors due to being so cold. We are from out of town. Where we are from there are no friendlys and our kids love going there. We will never go back to this resturant again!

The people were nice but my order was awful. Lava cake without any hot fudge. We wanted to share it because it was suppose to be warm but came out cold because of the lack of fudge. I do not recommend this Friendlys at all!

Due to our local Friendly’s having closed, we decided to take a two hour drive to Horseheads to enjoy a “ Jim Dandy” experience. We called the day prior to our trip to assure they would be open and were still serving my favorite ice cream. Mike, the manager, told us that they were open and to ask for him when we were seated. When we arrived, Mike and our waitress treated us like family who had arrived from out of town. The ice cream was great and the service was even better! I can’t say enough about how nice an experience it was. Our thanks to Mike and his staff!

Walked in and waited over 5 minutes to be seated. No one came out or walked over to say they would be a minute, so we walked out. Place looked dirty and afraid someone was going to break into our car if we stayed. Went two minutes down the road and ate at better looking and friendlier establishment.

Not as good as the arnot mall location when it was open, for the price and quality of the food they aren't keeping up with competitors "3 for 10" style meals

Good food, nice but overworked service.

I waited over 1 hour for food after the order was taken July 6 2019 and the place wasn't even busy. The waitress was more busy just going around talking to everyone then doing her job. Will the Horseheads Friendlys be next going out of business?

Waitress did fine, but took way too long for two sandwiches, especially when it wasn't busy. Simply put, I probably won't be going back.

Small and and older restaurant but it's one of the few Friendly's around. Food was delicious and pricing was fair. As always, the ice cream was spectacular

The service wasn't very good and it wasn't busy! Husband's food was disgusting and she never came back to ask how anything was. It was horrible that's for sure!! It'll be a while before we go back here. :(

Food was good, service could definitely have been better.

I use to love going here, I decided to go with friends two nights ago and it was awful took ten mins to get seated I ordered the famous cotton candy drink I got a Shirley temple, ordered the super melt had hair In it also ordered a cup of soup they gave me a bowl and charged me never again

They have absolutely NO consideration for their customers. Hour waits for your food, poor service, and lacking any kind of kindness. They will not accept any doordash orders and will not notify you for thirty minutes that your order was canceled. Utterly despicable their service is.

Stood around waiting to be seated for a long time even though there was an employee sitting in a booth watching us. Not very busy with lots of empty tables but they were bunching everyone on top of each other. We were seated next to a loud table with a sick kid. While waiting a long time for a waitress to show up the people in the booth ahead of us got a sundae with an insect in it. As we were getting up to leave a waitress finally showed up. Left anyway.

Four stars for the burger the triple...service was great.. very kid friendly

I normally don't leave low reviews, I tend to try and only speak of the positive or perfect, but this place made me sad. The wait staff were great, it definitely was not a people problem up front. However, whomever was cooking when I went there just did not seem to care, and they forgot things repeatedly. Further, the food itself is kinda bland, overpriced, and the interior is falling apart. You can tell that Friendly's as a company is not in a good place. When I was very young, in the early 90's, I remember it being a much more vibrant and lively place. Now it feels like an eatery in a tomb.

Room is really cold and waitress not waiting on us but the food is so good

The food is great but for some reason it takes forever to get the food, get ice cream, get the check. Doesnt matter if there's 2 or 50 people still slow. Do not go there if you have a time limit.

Food was cold ! Had to send it back. And wait for the new food. Manager said that his staff didn't cook it long enough. Will only go there for ice cream .Denny's is next door. Food is always hot.

Cook's couldn't make the food right. My hamburger was not to have ranch on it. First one had ranch it was taking back then they don't put French onions on it. My honey got a Turkey malted it came out with no cheese and the Turkey was dry. They gave us little fries.

Always great food and service. I can't ever get enough of the loaded waffle fries.

Great place for lunch.

Great food and ice cream. It's our favorite place for a casual bite.
